Draft operating policy
Acceptable Use Policy
This draft policy sets the operational boundaries for Maxx AI answering, communications, payments, and customer data.
Placeholder policy for launch preparation. Have qualified counsel review before relying on this for live customers.
Lawful communications
Contractors must obtain any consent required for calls, recordings, transcripts, automated messages, and marketing communications. Maxx may not be used to conceal caller identity, harass recipients, send unlawful messages, or bypass carrier and registration requirements.
Emergency limitations
Maxx is not an emergency dispatch service and must not be represented as one. Contractors must maintain appropriate fallback contacts and instruct callers to contact emergency services when there is immediate danger, fire, gas exposure, medical risk, or another life-safety condition.
AI responsibility
AI output must be reviewed when it affects diagnosis, safety, pricing, warranties, legal obligations, or customer commitments. Users may not instruct Maxx to invent facts, impersonate another person, or make unsupported professional claims.
Customer and payment data
Users must access only records they are authorized to handle and must not upload unnecessary sensitive information. Completion-based payment hold workflows must be described accurately and may not be presented as a regulated custodial service.
Provider costs and abuse
Phone numbers, call minutes, messages, recordings, AI use, and other provider resources may generate recurring and usage-based charges. Maxx may rate-limit, suspend, or investigate activity that exceeds configured limits, presents fraud risk, or threatens platform reliability.
