Terms of Service

These draft terms describe how Maxx is intended to be used by contractors, technicians, customers, and internal operators.

Placeholder policy for launch preparation. Have qualified counsel review before relying on this for live customers.

Use of Maxx

Maxx provides software for contractor operations, including customer records, job scheduling, AI answering workflows, invoices, client portal sharing, and completion-based payment hold status tracking. Users are responsible for entering accurate information and using the platform in compliance with applicable laws.

Accounts and roles

Workspace owners control access for admins and technicians. Each user should use their own login. Customers may receive property-tied portal links to records explicitly shared by the contractor.

Payments

Payment features are designed to support normal invoice payments, deposits, refunds, and completion-based payment holds through isolated payment connectors. Maxx records workflow status, but live funds movement depends on configured payment providers and their rules.

AI features

AI-generated summaries and AI answering workflows should be reviewed by the contractor. Maxx is designed to ground AI output in actual job and call data, but users remain responsible for customer communications, safety decisions, pricing, and service recommendations.

Availability and changes

During early access, features may change quickly. Maxx may update workflows, connectors, and product behavior as the platform moves from private beta toward general availability.
